Okay, so it's not from when I originally posted the word, it's from this post. Nevertheless, I thought you had caught up with the entire thread.
Yes I did see that :) I just ignored it. You know... to focus on that goose I chased instead...
I might be mistaken, but I think Mike is browsing through the long word section in his My First Dictionary book. He used some quite effectively in the TLPTP thread today. :)
I didn't say anything because I was arranging my nose at the time.
They have pictures in them... the books... so he might be some time.
edit: so how are you? :)
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.
.... though I'm not quite sure of the importance of it arriving before Mother's Day. I'm definitely in the defined age bracket for this tome. May I point out that my son is one of the team that created and now maintains that very web site ? Apparently Stephen is now allowed to update live code. Or maybe it was upload dated code ? Perhaps upcode live dates ? Probably live upto date. Something like that. Terribly important role. Mission critical performance. Beats fetching the office donuts/coffees, which is the normal role for 'graduate developers' .... :-)
I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...
... and my other CPU is a Ryzen 5950X :-) Blaise Pascal
If we organised ourselves we could bring out a picture dictionary of all the words those other dictionaries decided to leave out...

You may :) I like it!
The mother's day thing is no doubt to instil panic purchasing. To avoid that hollow-eyed desperate scouring of shop shelves on the day itself... whenever that may be.
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.
Will somebody post a new word before I get crabby again???
How new?
Perhaps while we're waiting for Mike... I could make one, and post its definition and you could be the first person to discover just how new it is :)
erm how about:
D E F F G G I L N O R U
definition: mysterious adhesive that converts the leaves of one fruited deciduous tree into another when pasted on stuff. Safe for emergency use on skin.
One of the f's is already in the right place. Nothing else is though.
Please wait here. Further instructions could pile up at any time. Thank you.
Okay, I'm posting a new word, not so much out of crabbiness as of fascination with the word itself. I was quite surprised by its definition -- or rather that it was not what I expected it to be.
CGMRRSTUOIEAAA
[edit 2] There is one letter correct.

AAAAAARRRRRRGGHHH!!!!! You beat me to it by 44 seconds!
Hold this one in abeyance, or something.

First crack: GRIFFNDOGLUE, which, while taking its ending from your stated definition, also ignores the definition to go for a weak Harry Potter joke, i.e., adhesive used to make troublesome First Years stand still for hazing. ...or something like that. Totally ignores the improper spelling of the house name.

Well I think that's such a good one, that we should make that a new word too! :)
There are no paired letters though...
