No interruption at all. I was just using my toesies to scratch my dear golden retriever's ( Cooper ) back.

Yo ! You do indeed have some proclivities in this regard ...

Take it away Annie.

Cheers, Mike.

I have made this letter longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter ...

POO SAGE I : First rank

POO SAGE I : First rank functionary who makes veritable assessments at a sewage farm.

GOOSE API : New farmyard strategy game on iPhones !

PSI AGE OO : The first of The New Age thought broadcasting networks constructed to get around the secrecy hazard of people thinking before they speak ( apparently there are still some using the Internet that edit their thoughts before typing ).

GOOIE SAP : From the tree out in the front.

O A SOG PIE : said Mrs Smithens the baker's wife upon discovery that the oven hadn't been lit.

OESOPAGI : not quite the plural of oesophagus, which is actually oesophaguseseses .....

SPAGOOIE : sort of like alphabet spaghetti but more downmarket.

O PEAS GO I : Little known phrase omitted in the final version of Shakespeare's Henry V speech beginning "Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more; Or close the wall up with our English dead." It was thought that the meal reference was inappropriate.

[pre] final : Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.

draft : Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
o peas go I
To thou full height in, in, you noblest English.[/pre]
Basically some of Will's mates that proofread for him pointed out that it didn't scan poetically. Plus there was no evidence that deeply placed intranasal legumes gave a battle advantage on the day ( allegedly it was Welsh longbows that clinched it ). A heated argument ensued. Finally he submitted to their advice. But from then on things just weren't the same between them all.

Cheers, Mike.

( edit ) There is another school of thought taking the view that Omar Khayyám's line "The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,Moves on:" was a metaphor actually based upon his personal experience of the irreversibility of shoving peas up his nose ...... you can pick all day ( the Moving Finger ) they just won't come out.
